We had a "Faveo" fitting evening tonight with several customers who had expressed an interest in these innovative lingerie accesories. Faveo kindly sent a rep to demonstrate, and teach myself and another member of staff how to fit. We know have plenty of stock so get your backless strapless low cut tops and dresses at the ready and loose the wobbly boobs. Thankyou to those ladies who attended.

Please be patient as I build this site myself.......it seemed like a good idea at the time. All these pictures, sizes and dealing with pay pal has not ran as smooth as I would have liked. Well here we go again. The "easy to use website you can update and up load your self" is proving not to be as easy as I thought. So all the pics are taking a little longer to piece together with the correct information. New night wear in though - its gorgeous! Night shirts, PJs, vests, shrugs to cuddle up in and kimonos to swan about thinking your absolutely fabulous if the post man knocks !

January 27th 2006 Had the privelage of the echo editor and photograph coming to interview me on Monday to write an article for " The firm of the Week". A little bit of background info on how and why I opened the shop. More embarrassing photos taken of me precariously leaning agianst rails and stands trying to look relaxed when all I could think about was the squiff hangers behind me, after the bridal fayre I had done the night before at the Hillcrest Hotel ( Hello to you!). Well, its all in this mondays echo (30th) so have ganders and a giggle. Also, have a look at us in this weeks "Live" magazine photo shoot January 13th 2006 Friday 13th whoooooaaa..... scarey! Bridal season has arrived! All the lovely brides to-be with mum, sisters, aunties, future in-laws and some what embarrassed dads, have begun to descend on the shop checking out what is available and how much it will set them back. A great laugh, a really nice family, with one dad who had the excrutiating misfortune of trawling through every catalogue with his over zealious daughter and wife, choosing a thong or brief for the big day was an all too familiar sight. As his daughter was expecting him to discreetly look away (at what prompt I do not know). His wife was demanding he engaged in the sale so as to look interested and OK the prices. I felt so sorry for him, but the more I prattled on the more embarrassed he got. I offered a change of seats so he could read the newspapers, which he greatly appreciated. Mother almost shed tears of joy seeing her daughter in a beautiful basque, so everyone was happy: and poor old dad just about survived with one layer of skin left on his turkey cock red face...how sweet! Poor man...Sadly he is the just one in a long line of unsuspecting supportive fathers! More info - finalising the draft for e-commerce to buy on line which will be coming soon... keep you posted on that one! January 7th 2006 Happy New Year!! Hope you all had a great time... Friday morning the usual disaster struck when I couldn''t find my keys to the shop again and had to call a locksmith to break into the roller shutters. On hearing the quote of over £100 I nearly collapsed and decided to carry on looking eventhough I had a rep standing outside the shop waiting for me. After nearly bursting into tears with frustration...low and behold the keys were in a new safe place I had forgotten about! Had a few lovely new customers this week all wearing the wrong size, but with a bit of T L C from Liaisons they are now loving their womanly shape. Check out our sale rails to pick up the bargains! December 22nd 2005 Not much to say this week as we have been busy busy busy... Nearly ran out of boxes and had to arrange what potentially looked like a dodgy deal on the M62 junction 9 layby to meet my box delivery guy who has actually finished work for Christmas but agreed to meet me half way! Late night shopping on thursday evenings has been a great success with all the nervous first time lingerie shoppers and busy bees who enjoy last minute prezzies! Anyway have a fantastic Christmas all you lovely people and have a great new year. December 15th 2005 Well, what can I say apologies for delays in our goss, probs with the updating software. Enjoyed more embarassing moments this week when Louis Hurst and the breakfast portion from Juice FM recorded there shopping experiences which was aired last thursday! I know alot of you heard the interview and took great pleasure in commenting on my radio voice... ugggh! December 1st 2005 Firstly may I begin with salutations for December, even though I know its a bit early, but thats retail for you! I started the Christmas window display but could not bring myself before the 12th to finish, so it looks rather abstract at the moment. Many of you may have already seen the article in "Your Move" magazine at the potters wheel! As a cross advertisement project it has been successful if only for loyal customers to ridicule my pose in the chair. Got to choose new carpet for the fitting area this week.... can''t decide on red again or chocolate brown. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Valetines day week was great in both shops thanks to all our customers. Sorry I did nt run any offers or advertising for Mothers Day to give you any gift ideas but its all happening a bit too fast for me this year ! Swimwear has arrived Marlies Dekkers in Liaisons to turn a few heads at the beach and Freya Swim in Madame Foners for that lingerie shape at the pool!

Tonight we participated in a fashion charity night for the "Greek School" for the Liverpool Greek community. A fantastic display of effort and suppport by all friends and family. With clothing supplied by Cricket, hair by Zoo and lingerie by our selves modelled by our brave staff, a fun night was had by all! We will load the catwalk shots asap.

We have decided to offer all our customers the opportunity to tell us what they would like us to stock in both shops. We have already introduced an altering and measuring service from Liaisons and we will endevour to bring plunge bras in larger cups into Madame Foners. So, we need you to "really use those fingers" and get typing all your thoughts.

Happy New Year to all our loyal customers! A big thank you for another successful Christmas at Liaisons Lingerie ; and yes the rumours are true...... we have now taken over Madame Foners of 84 Bold Street, in Liverpool city centre. We are the third owners of the renowned independent boutique established for over 50 years. We will continue to supply all popular favourites at both shops with an extensive range of stock.
